Ravinia

Description

The Ravinia Festival is the the oldest outdoor music festival in the United States. I created this piece as an entry for Ravinia's 2015 poster competition. After doing some preliminary research, I learned that the majority of the music featured at the festival is classical. With this in mind I morphed together the Ravinia stage and a five-stringed violin in an effort to capture the festival's close relationship with the fine arts. This piece won 3rd place.
